Eleni Athanasiou
Managing Director and Co-Founder

Eleni attended St. Catherine's British School in Athens, before graduating with a degree in History from Worcester College, Oxford, in 2021. Eleni acted as Undergraduate Historians' representative during her time at Oxford, and undertook a research internship with the Laidlaw foundation.
Eleni has developed strong relationships with clients from China, the UK, Germany, Italy and France, over her five years tutoring and during her spell as Managing Partner of A Step Ahead Mentors. As Managing Director and Co-Founder at Tripos Education, Eleni brings her years of expertise to enable students to reach their full academic potential, all the while prioritising their mental well-being and happiness.
Oliver Smith
Co-Founder
BA OXON, Ancient and Modern History
Oliver attended Radley College with a Couzens Academic Scholarship, before graduating from Somerville College, Oxford, with First Class Honours in Ancient and Modern History in 2019. In 2020, Oliver co-founded A Step Ahead Mentors to help address the pressing educational needs of displaced students during the height of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
In 2022, Oliver founded Tripos Education with Eleni to take the next step in providing parents and students with the best possible advice and support to fulfil their ambitions.
Oliver is currently a Trainee Solicitor at a Magic Circle Law Firm.
